Although this website is predominantly retail-focused, regular readers and subscribers will have no doubt noticed that the odd piece about beer and pubs manages to squeeze its way onto the site.

Every effort is made to ensure this pub-related content is as relevant to the readership as the pure retail pieces and various columns that appear on this site. Hopefully it is not seen as an interruption in the normal exemplary retail-related service that we provide.

This explanation is being made in light of the recent British Guild of Beer Writers award that was bestowed upon the author of most of the Retailinsider.com content. So from this point on, whenever you come across a piece about beer and pubs and you can’t quite see the relevance – at least you know it’s an award-winning bit of irrelevance.
