Screen on the Green presents Future of F&B

The Screen on the Green is a cinema in North London that has a majestic history, having played host to some thought-provoking bands.

It is also the location for the Future of Food & Beverage’ seminar hosted by Portland. Retail Insider has long been an advocate of the theory that the leisure and retail industries can learn plenty from each other.

This belief is supported by the fact that the distinction between the two areas is becoming increasingly blurred. The emergence of hybrid retail/leisure brands is one of the most exciting areas of retail.

Just as the Sex Pistols made a difference to music F&B will have an increasing influence on the retail sector. With people like Jonathan Downey, founder of Street Feast, and David Abrahamovitch, co-founder of Grind, taking to the stage at the seminar on June 1 at the Screen on the Green it should be an occasion of some more thought-provoking activity.
