Retail Insider was pleased to announce the launch of the inaugural Disruptors & Innovators in Retail Top 30 report produced in partnership with the Retail Technology Show last week.
For those people who have not yet seen the 30 visionaries celebrated in the report then it is accessible here.
This new annual report seeks out the industry’s pace-setters who are redefining the retail landscape. From large retail organisations to disruptive start-ups, new formats and innovative business models, along with circular economy initiatives, the report shines a light on these pioneers who are shaking up the sector in these tough times. They are making a difference amid a post-pandemic environment with economic headwinds from the cost-of-living crisis.
In putting together the report we have canvassed opinion from across the retail industry and the sector’s broader eco-system to find the most progressive individuals, highlighting some real stars of the retail sector who are really disrupting and innovating. There has certainly been great change and turmoil of late as a result of the pandemic and the cost-of-living crisis but against this backdrop some rising stars have emerged who we’re delighted to champion within this inaugural report.
Integral to the creation of the report is Retail Insider’s Advisory Panel, which comprised an impressive group of people from across the retail industry: David Walmsley, chief digital & technology officer – Pandora; Jeremy Pee, chief digital and technology officer – Marks & Spencer; Aron Gelbard, co-founder & CEO – Bloom & Wild; Steve Robinson, founder & CEO – Omnicommerce; Paul Hornby, digital customer experience director – The Very Group; Melissa Reed, managing partner, H.I. Executive Consulting (H.I.E.C); Simon Leesley, chief operating officer – Too Good To Go; David Kohn, e-commerce investor & advisor; and Orlando Martins, founder & CEO – ORESA.
Retail Insider would like to thank this grouping for their much valued input and also much appreciation to the Retail Technology Show for their support and partnership that has enabled this report to come to life. We look forward to bringing you the 2024 report.
